American Girl Hospital

Chloe's doll Samantha has some serious problems. Ouchies.....big ones. Her eyes will no longer open and close. This is totally terrifying to our little 5 year old Chloe. She was a mess when she discovered this. A total freak out in the car on the way home from Vegas. I had to pull over to calm her down. So on Monday, July 7th, we headed out with Charlie, Mary, and Kailyn to the American Girl Store in LA. Chloe was initially all excited about going to the doll hospital--she was all for getting her doll fixed. But all of a sudden on Monday morning she started to become less excited. In fact, she sort of became against it! That's right...she no longer wanted to take her doll to the hospital because she didn't want to leave Samantha somewhere. She was worried that it would take too many days and she would miss her doll too much. She cried! I know, crazy. Douglas and I had to talk her into taking her doll again. Chloe finally became okay with the idea before Mary came to pick us up (thankfully).

The girls had a fun time at the store. Chloe cried a tiny bit when she gave the guy at the Hospital Admissions counter her doll. He had her dress her doll in a hospital gown and wrap her in a hospital blanket......seriously, I'm not kidding. American Girls are SERIOUS about their dolls. Chloe will get her doll back in two to three weeks with brand new eyeballs.
