Aunt Shavonne got married! We left immediately after school got out (oh wait, nope, we had to wait to get music for the wedding on Doug's Ipod) and headed to Vegas. It was a long drive, major traffic on the last day of school. . .and we were tired when we got there. But, we went right to work. Douglas and I decorated the wedding cake. Whew! That was a job. Did I mention Doug and i do NOT do wedding cakes? There is a reason. Nonetheless the cake turned out fine. The next morning I did Shavonne's hair while Aunt Sara did her makeup. After getting her off to the temple I went and did Naomi's hair, Chloe's hair, and Lacey's hair. They all had matching french braids and curls. The wedding was beautiful. We missed Uncle Joseph and his family though. They were unable to make the long trip. Chicago is just too far away.
