Chloe is nervous about Saturday. She is going to be in the Miss Upland Pageant again. At first she was just excited and told so many of her friends. This is going to be her "sport" since soccer didn't work out for her. I feel really bad that she gets so low when she plays sports. It stinks for her. Someday maybe we will be in even better control of her sugar levels. Anyway, Chloe got about 4 of her friends to be in the pageant too. Now they have all been talking about it at school and how they have been practicing their "walk." Hilarious! Today I caught her in her new shoes practicing her walk. I never laughed so hard. She is too funny. She tries to walk like a supermodel shaking her hips and bobbing her head. Wow! I had to tell he several times just to walk normal. Goodness! She has a natural sway to her anyway so an exaggerated one is just funny!! I am sure she will do fine. Her goal is to win at least one trophy. I would vote her her, would you? Wish her luck......

i would vote for her in a hearbeat, those pictures are so good :) i think i'll be able to make it saturday...i'll call when it gets closer for time and directions

What??? Nothing on your blog about our fun weekend in Upland, Preston's baptism, or your "oh no, 3-0" birthday?? Just a post about beautiful Chloe and her supermodel walk...and you wonder where SHE gets it from...ha! ha! Tell her good luck and have fun!! It doesn't matter if she gets one trophy or ten (or none) - she is a cutie and should just have fun with it - and tell her that grandma says to NOT walk like she's 18! PLEASE act like you are 5!! (okay - maybe 6 - since she is ALMOST that old! ha! ha!) GOOD LUCK, CUTE CHLOE!!!! :)

so i love the pic on the bottom the best. you should blow that one up! she's killin me with her expressions! it's like she's born to take pics, hahahaha! so, when you come out bring your camera and take some of my kids. then i don't have to buy the school pics and they'll have headshots for when they want to try out for a play and such! and does she still call me "pretty kimmy?"

you bet i'm "pretty kimmy"..it's so fun to brainwash the nieces and nephews, the ones young enough to be brainwashed! i had brigham calling me "pretty kimmy" last weekend when we all got together for mom's bday and mother's day!
